The flag (D) has a flexible support (1) e.g. cloth piece, on which motifs (2, 2a, 2b), drawings, and color arrangements are made and are oriented in a desired direction. The support is equipped to a support unit (3) e.g. cord, braided rope, and flag pole, by a linking unit (M). The unit (M) has a casing (4) made on an edge of the support by folding the support upon itself and fixing a part (4a) of the fold against the unit (3). An Independent claim is also included for a procedure for manufacturing a flag, pennant, or banner.
