Pedal assembly metal plate (1) has four cylindrical collars (4) located on a surface (2) of the plate. The collars are intended for the placement of a soundproofing pad and are obtained by progressive stamping of the pedal assembly plate. The thicknesses of the plate and of the walls of the collars are substantially the same. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of the collars by progressive stamping, involving denting the place selected for location of a collar and successive operations of deforming the dent, sizing the final collar, and punching the collar.
