SURGICAL LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR INTERIOR OF THORACIC CAVITY AND LIGHTING METHOD FOR INTERIOR OF THORACIC CAVITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lighting environment securing certainty of a surgical operation by surely lighting a surgical portion in a surgery of the interior of the thoracic cavity.;SOLUTION: Lighting systems 14 and 15 are attached to the ends 7 and 8 of projecting pieces 3 and 4 projecting from a fixed arm 1 and a movable arm 2 of a rib spreader 20 respectively to oppose their lighting directions to each other, and the fixed arm 1 having a waveform notch 11 in one side is slidably inserted in a through-hole 13 provided in a base part 12 of the movable arm 2. Bent pieces 5 and 6 are inserted from a cut part of the breast, a rotation gear 19 provided in the movable arm 2 is rotated to open and fix the cut part, then a power is fed to light sources incorporated in the lighting systems via electric wires 17 and 18 to light the light sources and the surgery is started simultaneously with starting to light the surgical portion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
