PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watch with radio communications functions that can improve the design and also receive radio waves by an antenna.;SOLUTION: A radio-controlled watch 100 comprises a metal outer case 1, a back cover 3 having a non-conductive plate 3A, a number plate 21 composed of a conductive member mounted in the tube axial direction of the outer case 1 apart from the back cover 3, and an antenna 5 housed between the back cover 3 and the number plate 21. The antenna 5 is arranged so that its axial direction 5 is nearly orthogonal to the tube axial direction of the outer case, the center position N in the tube axial direction of the antenna 5 is arranged at a position nearer the back cover 3 than the center position C between the back cover 3 and the number plate 21 in the tube axial direction. This configuration allows the antenna 5 to receive radio waves from a non-conductive plate 3A, such as glass or the like, and to produce the watch 100 with texture having the outer case 1 and the dial plate 21 that are made of metal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
