PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously perform fluid phase determination and temperature measurement of a multiphase flow field containing liquid and gas at the same point. PSOLUTION: A hot junction of an exposed thermoelectron pair 10 is used as an impedance probe. When alternating voltage is impressed to the thermoelectron pair 10 from a signal generator 34 via an impedance detection resistor 32 and a direct current isolation capacitor 30 while respective phases of the multiphase flow field are brought into contact with the hot junction 40, an earth impedance of each fluid phase is detected by the resistor 32, and phase determination is carried out on the basis of the detection result. A low-pass filter 13 is inserted between the thermoelectron pair 10 and an amplifier 20, and when common mode voltage is sufficiently removed in front of the amplifier, separation from a thermoelectromotive force signal can be accomplished.
