PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for extending the life of a blast furnace, by preventing exfoliation and fracture occurring in brick in the bottom of the blast furnace due to stress generated when the press-formed carbon bricks are disposed at random.;SOLUTION: The refractory structure for the bottom of the blast furnace includes a plural stages of the carbon bricks 2 continuously arranged on the same perimeter so that the arrayed direction of carbon grains 4 in the bricks can be vertical and/or horizontal.
