PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for depositing a stable dispersion matter containing a large quantity of solids (e.g. silver metal powder) and having viscosity less than 20 mPa s at the moment of ejection on a various substrates by an ink jet print technology. PSOLUTION: The method for depositing an ink jet printable composition on a substrate comprises a step for depositing the ink composition on a substrate by ink jet printing, and the composition contains (a) a functional material, (b) an organic polymer containing polyvinyl pyrrolidone, and (c) a dispersion vehicle selected from an organic solvent, water or their mixtures wherein (a) the functional material and (b) the organic polymer are dispersed into (c) the dispersion vehicle, and the viscosity of the composition is 5-50 mPa s at temperatures of 25-35C.
