METHOD FOR CULTIVATING MOSS MAT, MOSS MAT, AND GREENING PANEL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating a moss mat making cultivation more efficient and enabling cultivation of a sound moss mat; and to provide a moss mat and a greening panel provided with the moss mat. PSOLUTION: The method for cultivating a moss mat comprises using a rock wool mat 2 having two sides as culture soil, and sowing seed moss on both sides to grow a moss plant 3. By this method, the rock wool mat 2 as culture soil is easily treated because of its light weight. The rock wool mat 2 as culture soil is usable as a base for a moss mat 1 as it is after the moss plant 3 is grown up so that work required for removing the culture soil becomes unnecessary after cultivating the moss mat 1 and thereby makes cultivation more efficient. The moss mat 1 is hardly broken and is strong because the moss plants 3 are excellent in rooting. Further, by the method, growth of the moss plants 3 becomes outstandingly swift.
