Panel and greening moss mat

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening lightweight construction material as expected for reduction of air-conditioning thermal load and control of heat island phenomenon. PSOLUTION: A moss greening mat is obtained by using for a moss greening substrate a water retention, water-absorbing and air permeable polyester fiber board which is preferably a board of a polyester fiber composition containing a water-absorbing polyester fiber, placing a mat-like moss plant on the substrate of the polyester fiber board, and covering the surface with a meshy net followed by fixing the product. It is possible to lay a nonwoven cloth with many small holes between the polyester fiber board and the mat-like moss plant. The mat-like moss plant is obtained by raising and overgrowing moss seeds and seedlings in a mat-like state on a sand cultivation base or the polyester fiber cultivation base, and then peeling from the cultivation base. The mat is fixed through stitching with a sewing machine or striking tackers. A moss greening panel is panelled by a panel construction method comprising arranging the moss greening mat in a mold.
