RESET SAFETY CONFIRMATION METHOD AND ELECTRONIC GAS METER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reset safety confirmation method and an electronic gas meter capable of performing reset safety confirmation more quickly and accurately.;SOLUTION: This electronic gas meter is equipped with an isolation part 9 comprising an isolation valve, and reset safety confirmation means 1-6, 8 for confirming reset safety when opening the isolation valve and resetting gas supply based on input of a reset signal after occurrence of an isolation phenomenon. The reset safety confirmation means 1-6, 8 measure a gas pressure and an instantaneous flow rate at the reset time. When the state where the gas pressure is smaller than a gas pressure measured just before then occurs continuously in the prescribed number of times, or when the state where the instantaneous flow rate is larger than a flow rate threshold occurs continuously in the prescribed number of times, the isolation valve is closed and isolation is performed during reset safety confirmation, and when the state where the instantaneous flow rate is smaller than the flow rate threshold occurs continuously in the prescribed number of times, the reset safety confirmation is finished.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
