METHOD OF CONNECTING BRANCH PIPE WITH UNDERGROUND MAIN PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce danger in work under an inferior environment or work in oxygen deficiency.;SOLUTION: The method of connecting a branch pipe 12 with a main pipe 10 for sewerage during use through an opening 14 formed on a side wall of the main pipe 10 comprises a step of forming an outer pipe 16 covering an outer periphery of the opening 14 forming part by advancing and excavating of a jacking machine, a step of leaving the outer pipe 16 and recovering the jacking machine after a top end of the outer pipe 16 reaches an outer peripheral surface of the main pipe 10 and then forming an annular reinforcing part 40 on the outer periphery of the opening 14 forming part in the outer pipe 16, and a step of installing the branch pipe 12 after forming the opening 14 by removing the side wall of the main pipe 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
