The CNT has alcoholic hydroxy groups and ether groups on the outmost surface. In other CNT, a plurality of the carbon meshes from the surface of a multi-wall carbon nanotube, in which the carbon meshes are layered coaxially and in multiple layers, has alcoholic hydroxy groups.
