CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR INJECTING GROUT INTO CABLE SHEATH OF POST-TENSIONED PC STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for injecting grout into a cable sheath of a post-tensioned PC structure, which enables the use of non-bleeding type ultrahigh-fluidity (ultralow-viscosity) grout.;SOLUTION: This construction method for injecting the grout into the cable sheath of the post-tensioned PC structure includes a vacuuming step: a vacuum pump is connected to the grout discharge side of the cable sheath when the grout is injected into the cable sheath of the post-tensioned PC structure; and the grout is infilled into the cable sheath by an injection pump which is connected to the grout injection side of the cable sheath, while the vacuum pump is brought into an in-service state. In the construction method, an ultrahigh-fluidity (ultralow-viscosity) grout material with a low water-cement ratio is injected in large ejection amounts by means of the injection pump.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
