PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium battery having a large capacity (current capacity per area), high cycle characteristics, and high durability, and to provide an electrode, the lithium battery, and the manufacturing method and a device of the lithium battery. PSOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a negative electrode for the lithium battery is configured such that particles for the negative electrode are carried with carrier gas and sprayed at high speed to a negative electrode substrate. The manufacturing device is equipped with a sealed chamber 1, an exhaust means 4 connected to the sealed chamber, a substrate placing mount 2 installed in the sealed chamber, a particle ejection nozzle 3 installed so as to face the substrate placing mount in the sealed chamber, an ejector 8 connected to the particle ejection nozzle through a carrying pipe, a raw material powder supply means 11 connected to a suction port of the ejector, and a carrier gas supply means 18 connected to a working fluid input port of the ejector and supplying carrier gas for carrying.
