PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus with liquid crystal remote control which can switch the lighting condition of back-light of a liquid crystal remote control in accordance with situations, improve visuality and flexibility in use of the display contents of liquid crystal and save power consumption of a battery.;SOLUTION: A back-light switch SW11 is provided to a manipulation panel 5 to switch any of the normally lighting mode for always lighting an LED 42 as the back-light of the liquid crystal display of the liquid crystal remote control 1, the normally extinguishing mode for always extinguishing the back-light, and the mode for lighting the back-light only for the predetermined period from the timing that the manipulation key of the manipulation panel 5 is manipulated. A CPU8 of the portable telephone body 2 transmits the data to a remote control unit 43 to light or extinguish the LED42 in accordance with the mode selected with the back-light switch SW11, and the remote control CPU43 having received this data lights and extinguishes the LED42 based on this data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
