PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely perform a pressure proof test for a fire extinguishing piping apparatus disposed in a multistoried building by the water supply from a water supply port of a connected water supply pipe installed outside the building.;SOLUTION: The water supply port opening device is constituted as follows: A connecting port 3 of a water supply port opening device body is connected to the water supply port 20 of the connected water supply pipe, which is connected to the fire extinguishing piping apparatus installed in respective stories in the building and installed outside the building. A pushing rod 6 disposed in a central part of the device body 1 in a penetrated state to be advanced/retreated freely is advanced by a handle operation and a check valve 27 in the water supply port 20 is pushed and opened at its tip against the force of a spring 29. While holding this state, a hose of a simple water supply device such as a hand pump vehicle is connected to a water supply inlet 8 provided in the device body 1, before the water is supplied from the device body 1 to the water supply port 20 through the hose to fill the fire extinguishing piping apparatus in the building.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
