PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity-driven fluid sequence device and method for reactive material in a microfluid apparatus as for a microfluid chip.;SOLUTION: The gravity-driven fluid sequence control device is provided with a plurality of reactive material chambers arranged in a stepwise pattern, a plurality of separation microchannels and a reaction chamber having a curved collected microchannel. The respective reactive chambers have air-bent channels and each pair of separation microchannels adjacent to each other has a U-shape structure connected to the pair of neighboring separation microchannels. In order to actuate the microfluid chip, an air-bent disposed in an oblique or erect position in the microfluid chip is sealed. The gravity-driven fluid sequence control device increases the reliability of fluid sequence control of a plurality of kinds of the reactive material. The gravity-driven fluid sequence control device is disposed in the microfluid chip, requires no driving force and element and, therefore, low consumption energy, a low production cost and no pollution are attained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
