PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for judging an abnormal site of a printing machine, which analyzes a printing result on every changeable region on an amount of ink feeding and specifies the abnormal site of an offset printing machine, or the like.;SOLUTION: The printing machine 101 prints printed matter 107 of a maintenance printing plate 800 including a solid patch 801 and a ghost chart 802 arranged on every ink feeding changeable region, and a densitometer 103 measures a density distribution of the printed matter 107, and the result of measurement is transmitted to a judging apparatus 105 side. A control part 501 of the judging apparatus 105 calculates indices such as fluctuation of the density, inclination and ghost based on the density distribution of the result of measurement and the printed matter 107, and quantifies the condition of the printing machine 101, and judges the abnormal site of the printing machine 101 based on the indices to confirm/adjust the corresponding site.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
