PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an anticrime system that is extremely inexpensive to install and easy to remove after installation, does not impose a psychological burden of monitoring or the like on neighborhood residents, passersby and others and impair the scenery of a town, and can comprehensively and meticulously monitor a community in response to indoor and outdoor emergencies.;SOLUTION: In the anticrime system, anticrime devices 1 comprising a surveillance camera 14 and an emergency indicator light 15 both actuated by an emergency signal are installed on a plurality of existing vending machines 2 in a monitored area, the group of anticrime devices 1 and an anticrime device monitoring control server are networked, and the surveillance cameras 14 and the emergency indicator lights 15 are not normally exposed out but exposed out only when an emergency signal is received.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
