METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING NETWORK OF CONTENT, CONTENT RETRIEVAL/SELECTION SERVER AND LOCATION SELECTION SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To link CRID and CDN and to distribute a content of high quality and high convenience, which is adapted to use environment, when the broadcast content is distributed to ubiquitous network with server-type broadcast as assumption.;SOLUTION: A content retrieval/selection server 5 sends terminal classification and a geographical position, which are sent along with a content request, to a location solution server 6 as a set with CRID. The location solution server 6 solves a location of an instance adapted to a terminal among the instances corresponding to the contents that a user requests. When the location is uniquely decided, the location solution server 6 returns it to the content retrieval/selection server 5. The content retrieval/selection server 5 redirects a content request to a selected CDN distribution server 8 and the content is distributed to the user terminal 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
