PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle size distribution measurement device capable of continuously measuring the particle size distribution of pulverized coal, a manufacturing system for adjusting the particle size distribution using the measurement result of the particle size distribution measurement device, and an operation method of blast furnace for operation while adjusting the particle size distribution of the pulverized coal.;SOLUTION: The particle size measurement device and pulverized coal manufacturing system comprises: the transport pipe 1 for air flow transporting the pulverized coal to the tuyere of the blast furnace; the 1st bypass 5 for taking out the pulverized coal 3 with the carrier gas flowing in the transport pipe 1; the 2nd bypass 9; the 2nd ejector 11 as a dilution means provided with the 2nd bypass for diluting the concentration of the pulverized coal flowing into the 2nd bypass 9; and the laser diffraction type particle size distribution measurement device 13 for continuously measuring the particle size distribution diluted by the 2nd ejector 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
