PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the combustion rate of a pulverized coal in a blast furnace by using a coal having low volatile content as the pulverized coal for the blast furnace injection in the consideration of the property of the pulverized coal when the pulverized coal is used.;SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the pulverized coal for blast furnace injection by pulverizing coal, the coal is pulverized so that the mass ratio α(%) of the pulverized coal having ≤(20±z)μm grain diameter satisfies the following inequality. α≥β-γ×VM.
