PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to register the face and profile information of a famous person in a database, and to extract the famous person who looks like a photographed user to provide information, and to compound a background image related with the famous person with the face image of the user to print it. PSOLUTION: This photographic printing device is provided with a camera 11 which photographs the face of a user, a display part 12, a print part 14 and a famous person information DB 15 for registering the face images of a plurality of persons with the profile information and background images related with the persons. The face image of the user photographed by the camera 11 is compared with the face image of each of persons registered in the famous person information DB 15 so that their similarity can be calculated, and information related with the person whose calculated similarity is the highest and the calculated similarity are displayed at the display part 12, and the face image of the user and the background image of the extracted person are compounded and printed.
