PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion-conductive gel electrolytic sheet that has high ionic conductivity with excellent strength and has a small environmental load in its manufacture. SOLUTION: This gel electrolyte forming sheet is formed by compounding integrally a supporting phase A formed from a fibrous substance or a pulp-like substance made of a high molecular polymer substantially insoluble in a nonaqueous electrolyte and a fibrous substance or a pulp-like substance capable of forming a matrix phase B formed from an ion-conductive gel high molecular polymer solved or plasticized substantially by a nonaqueous electrolyte; additionally, the supporting phase A forms a porous continuous phase.
