PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for selling seafood which provide prized fish and shellfish from a fisherman to a person who wants to purchase the fish and shellfish in a quick and simple procedure.;SOLUTION: This system for selling fish and shellfish is provided with a provider terminal to which the kinds and quantity of the prized fish and shellfish are inputted; a purchaser terminal to which fish and shellfish that a purchaser wants to purchase and its quantity are inputted by the purchaser; a kind deciding means connected through a network to the purchaser terminal and the provider terminal for deciding whether or not the kinds of the caught fish and shellfish are matched with the kinds of the fish and shellfish that the purchaser wants to purchase, and a notifying means for, when it is decided that the kinds of the fish and shellfish are matched by the kind deciding means, notifying the result that the fish and shellfish that the purchaser wants to purchase have been caught through electronic mail to the purchaser who inputs data from the purchaser terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
