PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual chlorine concentration detection device capable of accurately detecting the residual chlorine concentration.;SOLUTION: A part of water in a water bath facility 30 is introduced into a mixing vessel 10. The water is mixed with carbon dioxide as water, to be treated in the mixing vessel 10. The quantity of carbon dioxide to be mixed is a quantity determined based on a detection output of a pH sensor 11, and is also a quantity, by which the water to be treated in the mixing vessel 10 has a pH suitable for detecting the residual chlorine concentration. After the pH is made a proper pH value, the water to be treated in the mixing vessel 10 is sent to a detection vessel 12A, and the residual chlorine concentration is detected by a residual chlorine concentration sensor 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
