PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satellite receiving apparatus by which an optimum position can be decided easily without the labor of a user out of places in which an antenna can be installed. ;SOLUTION: A detection means 4 which detects the receiving level of a satellite on the basis of a received signal S1 obtained by an antenna 2 is installed. A display means 8 which displays the receiving level of every satellite detected by the detection means 4 is installed. The receiving level of every satellite is detected and displayed. Thereby, a user can confirm easily the receiving state of every satellite, and an optimum position can be decided easily without the labor of the user out of places in which the antenna can be installed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
