PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object monitoring system capable of correcting positional information on a plurality of monitored objects and grasping positional change of each of the monitored objects.;SOLUTION: This object monitoring system 10 is equipped with a position receiving part 101 for receiving each of the positions of the monitored objects 20 to 24 measured by GPS positioning parts 401 installed on the plurality of monitored objects 20 to 24, a corrective value calculating part 102 for calculating corrective values on the respective positions based on each of the received positions of the monitored objects 20 to 24, an abnormality determining part 103 for determining whether the objects 20 to 24 are each positioned in abnormal positions or not based on the result of comparison of respective movement permission ranges of the monitored objects 20 to 24 set by using the corrective values with the respective positions of the monitored objects 20 to 24, and a status notifying part 104 for notifying destinations about the result of decision when the determining part 103 decides that the monitored objects 20 to 24 are positioned in abnormal positions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
