SYNERGISTIC DIURETIC COMPOSITION FOR OLIGOANURIA REVERSION.

The combined diuretic therapy (Mannitol 1gr/kg + Furosemid 65mg/kg) is generally more useful in prerenal oligoanuria reversion presented in pediatric patients that have been under a post cardiac surgery than exclusively a furosemid dose. The combined diuretic therapy does not increase bleeding phenomena, on the contrary, upon increasing serum osmolarity of corporal fluids in the immediate transurgical stage and due to the greater diuretic effect, the aforesaid causes hemodiluted factors of the coagulation cascade to effectively act during the hours following the application of said therapy. The combined diuretic therapy improves postsurgical hemodinamia and the notorious inotropic dependence upon the increase of urosis and the decrease of CVP (Central Venous Pressure), thereby allowing said elements to quickly decrease and avoiding a hydric flood that leads to a cardiogenic shock. The combined diuretic therapy must be established 8 hours before the onset of a prerenal oligoanuric ARF (Acute Renal Failure) because after said period the use of the same may be uncertain, since renal failures seem to be established, therefore oligoanuric reversion is nil.
