The slide bearing has an outer fixed tubular bearing casing (1) and fixed ceramic bearing bushes (2). A hollow bearing shaft (3) for a pump impeller is coaxially and rotatably mounted in the bearing casing and has ceramic bearing sleeves (4). Outer axial bearing rings (5) are at the end of the bearing bushes and are held by axial discs (6), which are arranged on or at the bearing shaft at each end. The slide bearing forms a pre-assembled unit, whose parts are irreleasably fixed together. The two end axial discs are fixed onto the bearing shaft, which is held in the bearing case with the bearing sleeves and the axial bearing rings.
