This invention is a new machine and process for generating electricity fromthenaturally occurring wind. Unlike other wind machines that face into the wind,thismachine operates vertically, with the blades turning horizontally to theearth's surface.This machine does not have to turn to face the incoming winds to make it turn.Instead, the vertical blades are surrounded 360° by vertical fins.These fins areadjustable and are shaped to create a venturi effect as the wind passes bytherm on theway to the inner turbine blades. The venturi effect speeds up the natural windto give itmore power when it hits the blades. Since these fins direct the angle of thewind, thenatural wind can blow from any direction and the turbine blades will alwaysoperate attheir maximum speed, based upon the venturi effect and the natural wind speed.Thewind turbine turns a generator which creates electricity.
