PURPOSE: To provide a composition of cast iron for engine exhaust system in automobile, wherein the composition is capable of improving physical properties of high-temperature strength and high-temperature heat resistance up to approximately 50% and 20% respectively, when it is applied to exhaust manifold of automobile or turbine housing of turbocharger. CONSTITUTION: The composition of cast iron for engine exhaust system in automobile comprises an iron (Fe) as a principal constituent, 2.9 to 3.8 wt.% of carbon (C), 4.0 to 4.5 wt.% of silicon (Si), 0.3 wt.% or less of manganese (Mn), 0.05 wt.% or less of phosphorus (P), 0.1 wt.% or less of sulfur (S), 0.8 to 1.2 wt.% of molybdenum (Mo), and 0.025 wt.% or less of magnesium (Mg).
