PURPOSE: A speaker device of a portable terminal is provided to form sound wave transmission holes on an upper side of a folder unit casing around a sound wave transmission path from a speaker, and to configure projections around the formed sound wave transmission holes, thereby transmitting sound waves without being interrupted by obstacles. CONSTITUTION: An external speaker(130) is embedded in a folder unit casing(122), and converts an electrical signal into a high-quality sound wave. A sound wave transmission hole(131) is formed on the folder unit casing(122) to pierce through a sound wave transmission path up to the exterior of a portable terminal from the external speaker(130). A sound wave transmission hole(132) is formed in a decoration unit(125) to pierce through the sound wave transmission path. Projections(133) are protruded around the sound wave transmission holes(131,132).
