PURPOSE: A standing type boiler is provided to prevent imperfect combustion, to maintain the calorific value, and to reduce fuel consumption by supplying air through compressed air pipes at the same time and by removing imperfect combustibles from the heat medium pipe. CONSTITUTION: A standing type boiler is composed of a casing(110) vertically installed and composed of a combustion chamber(111) formed vertically in the center, a burner(120) having a flame discharge port communicated with the combustion chamber in the upper part or the lower part of the casing, heat medium pipes(130) placed outside the combustion chamber and arranged along the inner wall of the casing in plural lines, and plural compressed air pipes(150) arranged at both sides of the vertical central line of the casing and vertically installed between the heat medium pipes with injection nozzles(140). Compressed air is injected from the compressed air pipe through the injection nozzle.
