METHOD FOR DISPLAYING AIR QUALITY IN AIR CONDITIONER AND APPARATUS THEREFOR CAPABLE OF ALLOWING USERS TO SEE EFFECT OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for displaying air quality in an air conditioner, which allow users to compare components of flown-in air with components of purified air, thereby providing satisfaction and pleasantness to the users. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a selection key (118) which selects and measures flown-in air before a purification treatment and air after the purification treatment, display parts (116,120) which display measured value of air components, a valve switching part (308) which selectively passes through the flown-in air or the purified air in accordance with a control signal, a sensor (310) which measure the air that is sent from the valve switching part, and a my-com control part (314) which digitalizes the measured value of the sensor to display the digitalized value on the display part and controls the valve switching part in accordance with order of the selection key.
