METHOD OF FABRICATING A PIPE-SHAPE ELECTRODE BAR FOR A POWER PLUG TO USE A BRASS ROUND-BAR TYPE OF A MOLDING CHIP AS MOLDING MATERIALS AND ADOPT A DRAWING PROCESS AND A REDUCING PROCESS
PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a pipe-shape electrode bar for a power plug is provided to use a brass round-bar type of a molding chip as molding materials and adopt a drawing process and a reducing process by a cold forging machine or a press, thereby decreasing manufacturing costs, improve productivity and making a hemisphere-shape nose of cam molded easily. CONSTITUTION: A round-bar type of a molding chip is molded into half-finished goods of a pipe-shape electrode tube(PM) by a cold forging machine or a press where a forming block is set. The molding chip is gradually lengthened and thinned from a low and thick cup shape through at least three impact manufacturing processes and reducing manufacturing processes. A plurality of molding grooves(D35d), a punch(H35-40) and an ejector(EJ) are installed by stages at the forming block. A hemisphere-shape nose of cam is formed at one side of the pipe-shape electrode tube. The other side of the pipe-shape electrode tube is opened.
