PURPOSE: Provided is a composition comprising a ginsenoside compound stimulating magnesium- nucleotide-regulated metal ion channel or capacitative calcium entry. The ginsenoside compound stimulates MagNum ion channel or CCE ion channel and thus increases calcium concentration effectively. Therefore, the composition prevents and treats diseases associated with low calcium concentration. CONSTITUTION: The ginsenoside compound includes, ginsenoside Rk1, Rg2, Rg3 or the mixture thereof, and increases MagNum ion channel or CCE ion channel. Therefore, the pharmaceutical composition containing the ginsenoside compound is used for prevention and treatment of diseases associated with low calcium concentration.
