PURPOSE: A system and method for checking health using pupil variance, and a recording medium storing a computer program source therefor, and a method and system for identification with an iris by using the same and a recording medium storing a computer program source therefor are provided to check a state of a nervous system and a digestive system after checking the state of a sympathetic and a parasympathetic nerve. CONSTITUTION: An image input tool(10) obtains an iris image. A function setting tool(20) sets whether the iris image is registered or stored as an original copy, or is used as a confirmation request copy, and sets the system to check a health state by comparing/measuring a size of the pupil in the stored iris image. An original copy storing tool(40) registers/stores the iris images classified by an radius of the pupil as an original iris image of each class for each person. A health detecting tool(60) checks the health state in an early stage by detecting the tension of the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system as comparing/measuring the size of the pupil for each person. A main processing tool(30) controls operation of each tool.
