SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REAL-TIME BILLING ABOUT ADDITIONAL SERVICE EXCEPT VOICE CALL AND DATA CALL IN MOBILE PHONE NETWORK

PURPOSE: A real time charging system and method for a supplementary service except for a voice call and a data call in a mobile phone communication network are provided to provide a solution to some supplementary services that has been limited to pre-paid type subscribers and an expedient charging means. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(110) receives a supplementary service from a supplementary service providing unit(120). The supplementary service providing unit(120) provides supplementary services through diverse mediums by a communication provider. A charging processor(130) processes every charging data generated as mobile communication service subscribers use the supplementary service. A real time charging centralizing unit(200) calculates charging of pre-paid type subscriber, manages pre-paid type subscribers, and transmits information. A pre-paid type subscriber charging manager(210) stores and manages information on the pre-paid subscribers such as phone numbers or balance degrees. A pre-paid type subscriber charging manager controlling unit(220) controls and manages the pre-paid type subscriber charging manager(210). A client information manager(230) stores and manages client information on the mobile communication service subscribers.
