PURPOSE: A method of making a Phellinus linteus drink by extracting Phellinus linteus in water over low heat in the first stage and then over medium heat in the second stage is provided. The product has efficacy of Phellinus linteus and can be used in cooking nutritious food such as chicken soup, beef stock soup as well as drinking water. CONSTITUTION: To make a drink using Phellinus linteus, 0.1 to 0.2 parts by weight of Phellinus linteus is mixed with 100 parts by weight of water, heated over low heat in the first stage until water comes to a boil and over relatively low heat as compared to strong heat for 4 to 5hr in the second stage and then filtered, followed by sterilizing at 121 to 130deg.C for about 90sec. The filtering procedure is repeated three times. The water is purified water treated by reverse osmosis and has a hardness of 20 to 30.
