PURPOSE: A human hepatoma cell line HEP-T2 is provided, which is useful for study on the effects of HBV(hepatitis B virus) infection on the development of cancer, so that cancer metastasis can be inhibited. CONSTITUTION: The human hepatoma cell line HEP-T2 (KCTC 10398BP) transformed with HBV(hepatitis B virus) is provided, wherein the HEP-T2 (KCTC 10398BP) secretes HBV virus particles in the culture medium; the HEP-T2 (KCTC 10398BP) improves the activity of glucose transferring enzymes GnT(N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase)-III and GnT-V; the HEP-T2 (KCTC 10398BP) improves the activity of metalloprotein decomposing enzymes MMP(matrix metalloproteinase)-2 and MMP-9; and the HEP-T2 (KCTC 10398BP) inhibits the activity of selective MMP inhibitors TIMP(matrix metalloproteinase)-1 and TIMP-3.
