PURPOSE: A hollow nano polymer capsule structure and a hollow nano carbon capsule structure having a mesoporous shell and a preparation method thereof are provided, wherein the capsule structures have a wide surface area, a large pore volume and a uniform mesopore and can be applied to the chemical or drug delivery system. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing the silica mold particles comprising a spherical core and a mesoporous shell with a mold; injecting a polymer precursor into the mesopore of the silica mold particles; polymerizing the injected precursor to form a polymer-silica composite; and removing the silica mold from the obtained polymer-silica composite to prepare a hollow nano polymer capsule structure having a mesoporous shell. Also the method comprises the steps of preparing the silica mold particles comprising a spherical core and a mesoporous shell with a mold; injecting a polymer precursor into the mesopore of the silica mold particles; polymerizing the injected precursor to form a polymer-silica composite; heating the obtained polymer-silica composite to form a carbon-silica composite; and removing the silica mold from the obtained carbon-silica composite to prepare a hollow nano carbon capsule structure having a mesoporous shell.
