The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing chromium-based stainless steel prepared by adjusting the components contained ferritic stainless steel excellent in acid resistance to the glass after the sealing property and the high temperature heat treatment. The present invention to achieve the object is less than the carbon (C) 0.030% by weight%, silicon (Si) 0.3% or less, manganese (Mn) 0.5% or less, phosphorus (P) 0.040% or less, sulfur (S) 0.030% or less, chromium (Cr) 15% ~ 30%, nitrogen (N) consisting of 0.030% or less of aluminum (Al) 0.010% or less, and titanium (Ti) 0.60% or less, and the rest iron (Fe), and other inevitably contained impurities a ferritic stainless steel, characterized in that Ti is (C + N) or more than 15 times, Ti is more than 10 times that of (C + N) and (Ti + Nb) is at least 20 times that of (C + N) . By this improving the acid resistance of the surface oxide layer in the oxidation heat treatment step via the invention can be achieved which is capable of preventing rust generated on the surface of the metal sealed in the pickling process not rods can significantly reduce the failure rate of the sealing and wearing alloy and glass.
