PURPOSE: Provided is a pharmaceutically stable soft gelatin capsule which contains hydrophilic or spontaneous emulsifying fillings. The soft gelatin capsule uses, as a plasticizer for its coating, blend of sorbitol and glycerine to prevent the content of main components being decreased and improve disintegration retardation. CONSTITUTION: A coating composition of a pharmaceutically stable soft gelatin capsule is characterized by containing, as a plasticizer, 15-40% of blend of sorbitol and glycerine which comprises 40-55 wt.% of glycerine, 7.5-15 wt.% of anhydrous sorbitol, 20-27.5 wt.% of sorbitol, and 13-18 wt.% of water and other polyols.
