A connection for moisture-proof and releasable sealing between a shrouded cover and/or a housing ground plate, especially for hooded-sleeves used for connection of optical waveguides and cables. The adjoining surfaces (4) of the housing ground plate (2) are non-worked surfaces each designed with at least one cast-in encircling sealing groove (5,6) so that an inserted deformable seal (7) is formed horizontally in the groove (5,6) during extension/distortion and a labyrinthine seal is formed between the surfaces (3,4).
