The device is for use in a treatment plant having a holder for components, a continuous conveyor for the holders, and an actuator to pivot the holder. Holder (14) and conveyor (16) are connected via a bracket (18). During especially pivoting of the holder in the dip tank (20) the bracket moves the holder relative to the conveyor in direction of transport. The bracket is connected pivoted to both holder and conveyor via pivot points (24,22). The bracket is rigid and displaceable, and has a spring element and/or shock absorber.
