The warning light or indicator system (1) has a lamp housing (5) containing an array of yellow LED's (6), green LED's (7) and red LED's (8). The LED's are driven by a control circuit (4) which may switch different LED's on and off to give a display with different patterns and colors. The control circuit receives input from the speedometer (2) or a sensor on the brake pedal (3).
