The assembly has bushings (4.1, 4.2) to resist rotation of a bearing housing on the side of a windshield wiper. The bushings are fixed on the housing such that they are displaced, along with a driving shaft (1) in the axial direction when the shaft is subjected to a force due to collision. A clutch spring (12) is arranged coaxially to the shaft, in a protection position of pedestrian or between a support flange (8) and the housing.
