The spotlight has a fresnel lens (3) to superimpose a focal point of a reflector. The lens and reflector define a spacing that is varied in relation to another spacing defined between a lamp and the reflector. A diffusing screen (7) is placed in the center of the lens to produce scattered light ratio and aperture angle of the scattered light to provide a mixing ratio of the light relative to another light imaged by the lens. An independent claim is also included for a pocket lamp comprising a fresnel lens spotlight.
