Gyro windrow (1) has further stepped rows (10, 11) arranged before the last stepped row (12). The windrow gyros (2, 2', 3, 3') of the further stepped rows are hinged on longitudinal additional supports (17, 17') which pivot about the vertical axis in the rear region of the chassis (5). An independent claim is also included for a process for conveying a gyro windrow. Preferred Features: The longitudinal additional supports have a diverging progression and open in the traveling direction (F) in a V-shaped manner. The windrow gyros of the further stepped rows are hinged in flap hinges on the longitudinal additional supports.
